Haleakala National Park and Crater Rim - Haleakala Volcano last erupted in 1790. The massive crater is over seven miles long and two miles wide. The crater floor, 3,000 feet below the rim, is dotted with plant life and cinder cones. After viewing Haleakala at sunrise, Mark Twain was moved to write: "It was the sublimest spectacle I ever witnessed."
Maui Ocean Center - Sharks, stingrays, endangered sea turtles and beautiful tropical fish are on view at the center. The exhibits include: the Living Reef, a Whale Discovery Center, a Touch Pool and the Living Journey, where you stroll through a 54-foot transparent tube, surrounded by tropical fish and sharks. Your visit also includes a shark cage experience - feeding time at the shark tank.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Board your air-conditioned motorcoach for the approximately 1 3/4 hours winding up-hill ride to Haleakala National Park. From Lahaina, travel "up country," passing sugar cane and pineapple plantations and panoramic views of the island. Near the Park, travel through a countryside of small farms and ranches. From the park, head for the Maui Ocean Center.

Explore Maui's sacred "Valley of the Kings" and then visit a tropical garden plantation with flower gardens, macadamia groves and sugar cane fields.

Iao Valley - Enjoy a guided drive through Maui's "Valley of the Kings" to Iao Valley State Park. A guided walk offers stunning valley views. leading to a scenic overlook of the Needle - the sacred volcanic pinnacle that towers above the valley floor.
Maui Tropical Plantation - Board a tram for an approximately 35-minute ride through the plantation, taking in its agricultural villages, sugar cane fields, flower gardens and macadamia nut orchards.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Board your air-conditioned motorcoach at the pier and travel to Iao Valley, passing through Kepaniwai Park, the site of Kamehameha's victory against Maui's army.

Passengers must negotiate some steps in walking up to the overlook; the Needle may be viewed from your motorcoach.
On some calls a motorcoach with wheelchair lift may be available. Space is extremely limited and requests can only be made onboard. Priority will be given to wheelchair confined passengers.
Maui Ocean Center
One of Maui's most popular attractions, this stunning park overlooking Ma'alaea Bay is devoted to the rich marine life found in Hawaiian waters.

Kahakuloa - The Secret Hawaiian Valley
Travel along the "forbidden road" around the West Maui Mountains to Kahakuloa Valley - a part of Maui rarely visited by outsiders - to experience a part of ancient Hawaii.
WHAT YOU VISIT
Kahakuloa Village - Located in the Kahakuloa Valley, the village is home to several families who live and practice the ancient customs, including the cultivation of the Hawaiian staple food crop - taro. Residents continue to work and care for this land as their ancestors have for over 1,500 years. Your guide will describe what it would have been like to live here centuries ago, as well as how the Hawaiians settled and farmed this land.

Stop and shop at the Kaukini Art Gallery featuring several Hawaiian artists' work including exquisite woodcrafts, ceramics, jewelry and Hawaiian quilting.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
At the pier, board an air-conditioned 12-passenger van and travel north. During the narrated drive to Kahakuloa Valley, you will enjoy scenic vistas of soaring sea cliffs, rolling fields, and tropical vegetation.

Haleakala Ranch Atv Adventure
Explore Maui's scenic and historic Haleakala Ranch on your own All Terrain Vehicle.
YOUR ATV SAFARI
Your tour starts with an approximately 90-minute scenic drive through the heart of Maui and up to the 4,000-foot level of Haleakala Volcano. Upon arrival at Haleakala Ranch, you will be greeted by your experienced guide, provided with helmets, goggles, gloves and a safety briefing before embarking on the approximately seven-mile ATV riding adventure. Pause for photos along the way as your guide provides the history of Haleakala Ranch and interesting points on local culture. The route through the ranch has many panoramic views of Maui, the crystal blue Pacific Ocean and the awesome slopes of Haleakala Volcano. A light snack is included.
SPECIAL NOTES
People under 16 years of age are not permitted by law to drive ATV's. All participants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Valid ID required to participate.
Minimum weight to participate is 100 lbs.; riders must be less than 300 lbs. in weight.
Not recommended for participants with back problems. Pregnant passengers cannot participate on this tour.
Long pants, long sleeved shirt and closed-toes shoes are required. You will get dirty.

Haleakala Ranch Horseback Riding Adventure
Saddle-up for a Paniolo-style horseback ride across Haleakala Ranch, the largest working cattle ranch on Maui. Ride through tall, fragrant eucalyptus trees, across lush pastures with panoramic views of the valley and ocean below.
YOUR RIDING ADVENTURE
Your tour starts with an approximately 90-minute scenic drive through the heart of Maui and up to the 4,000-foot level of Haleakala Volcano. Upon arrival be greeted by your experienced, highly trained guide who will provide you with a safety briefing before embarking on your horseback riding adventure. During the approximately two-hour ride, expert guides will escort you through the eucalyptus forest to the pastures beyond to one of the most spectacular views of Maui from the slopes of Haleakala Volcano. Experience a variety of scenery and terrain - from pasture ranch land to coastal and mountain vistas.
SPECIAL NOTES
Participants must be between the ages of 10 and 64. Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight of each rider is 235 lbs.
Riders should wear long pants; bring a jacket, sunscreen and sunglasses. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Participants must be physically fit and comfortable riding a horse, although experience is not necessary. Pregnant passengers may not participate on this tour.

A Walking Tour Through Lahaina'S Past
This guided walking tour earns high marks from our passengers. See the remains of King Kamehameha's royal palace, tour a garden of native plants and view the burial sites of Hawaii's royalty.
YOUR WALKING TOUR
Your guide greets you with a chant at the sacred Hauola birthing stone, a place of creation and healing. Walk along the harbor to the remains of Hawaii's first permanent building, Kamehameha's Brick Palace, built in 1803. Continue on through an area that was once filled with taro patches to Baldwin House a symbol of the missionaries who flocked to Hawaii. Travel down Luakini Street, once home to immigrants who toiled in the cane fields. Head down Waine'e Street to Waiola Cemetery, where your guide explains the significance of the site's mountain views to Hawaiian chiefs. Follow a chanter to Moku'ula, the final resting place for Hawaii's monarchs. A short walk leads to the beach where Hawaii's kings once surfed. On the sand lie replicas of the outriggers that carried Polynesians to the island.

Refreshing cold water is served during our brief respite.
SHOPPING
Your walking tour ends near the 505 Front Street complex with restaurants and a variety of shops. Browse for souvenirs, arts and crafts before returning to the pier, which is a leisurely 10-minute walk away.

This tour involves approximately two miles of walking. Comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen are recommended.
Lana'I 4x4 Trekker Expedition
Visit an additional island during your Hawaiian cruise - explore Lana'i - considered the most secluded of the island chain.
YOUR ISLAND EXPEDITION
Board an air-conditioned passenger ferry from Lahaina Harbor for the approximately 45-minute voyage across the Auau Channel. During the trip enjoy views of all the islands of Maui County, including Maui, Moloka'i, Kahoolawe, Molokini, and of course, Lana'i - also once known as the "Pineapple Island." Upon your arrival in Manele Harbor, meet your naturalist guide and board your air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle to begin your island adventure! View a unique ironwood forest on your way to the "Garden of the Gods" - a stunning, natural red rock formation in the crater that often inspires visions of what Mars would be like. Other highlights include, "Shipwreck Beach," where the breathtaking views of Moloka'i are interrupted only by a shipwreck towering just offshore which gave the beach its name. Your guide is an experienced naturalist who knows the terrain, flora and fauna and will share with you interesting stories and legends throughout the approximately 3 1/2-hour 4x4 trek around Lana'i. Upon completion of your island tour, rejoin the passenger ferry terminal for the return journey to Lahaina Harbor. A picnic style lunch is provided.

Haleakala Zipline Adventure
Explore the jungle canopy of Haleakala by air-sailing from treetop to treetop.

Board your transport for the approximately 90-minute scenic drive through the heart of Maui and up to the 4,000-foot level of Haleakala Volcano. Upon arrival at Haleakala Ranch, Be greeted by specially trained staff who will outfit you with a customized seat harness and provide a safety briefing before leading you into the woods for your adventure. Soar over gulches and through the forest canopy on the slopes of one of the world's largest volcanoes to get a bird's eye view of the seasonal waterfalls and vegetation below. The adventure blends a short hiking experience with a series of picturesque zipline crossings.
SPECIAL NOTES
Minimum age is 10 years. Passengers under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Participant's weight must be between 80 to 260 lbs.
Participants will need to hike for half a mile on uneven terrain in a forest and must be comfortable with heights.

Rain Forest & Waterfall Hiking Adventure
Travel the historic Hana Highway before setting off on a guided hike that leads to waterfalls and swimming holes in a rain forest valley.
YOUR HIKING ADVENTURE
Travel the Hana Highway in your air-conditioned van to the 30-acre Garden of Eden and take a brief tour of this botanical garden featuring palms, tropical trees, flowering plants and scenic views of the Pacific. Set off on a private trail that switchback down the hillside before following a stream to a pair of 30-foot and 40-foot high waterfalls. Enjoy deli-style snack; swim in the pools at the base of the falls, and learn more about Hawaii's ecology, history and culture.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Board your air-conditioned van and travel the historic Hana Highway to The Garden of Eden, with beautiful views of lava cliffs, waterfalls and the Pacific.
SPECIAL NOTES
The hike travels approximately 1 1/2 miles with a 300 foot change in elevation.
Participants should be physically fit and will be expected to hike up and down a switchback trail in the rain forest as well as over uneven, rocky terrain, including over large boulders in the riverbed.
Wear your swimsuit under your clothes and wear sturdy, comfortable walking or hiking shoes. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and a towel.
Minimum age is 6 years old to participate.
Princess Golf - Kapalua - Plantation Course
This is the course of the PGA TOUR Mercedes Championship each January featuring an elite field of previous year's PGA TOUR winners.
YOUR GOLF GAME
Play the course where Ernie Ells shot 32 under Par in 2003! This track is a treat and must be played at least once in your life. Kapalua is considered by many as the "golf mecca of the Pacific." The grand scale of the course designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore unfurls across natural geographic formations and pineapple plantation fields that take your breath away. Atlantis Submarine Adventure
View Maui's underwater wonders aboard Maui's only real submarine that dives down to depths of 125 feet below the surface.
YOUR SUBMARINE ADVENTURE
The 65 foot, air-conditioned Atlantis submarine features comfortable seating and large view ports. Your marine naturalist provides narration and points out sights of interest as you dive up to 125 feet for an approximately 40 to 45 minute cruise that offers views of tropical fish, coral gardens and moray eels.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Bring your camera and high-speed film (400 to 800 ASA); flash photography does not work through submarine view ports.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
A short stroll along the pier brings you to the Atlantis dock. You will board the Atlantis surface vessel which will take you to the Atlantis submarine. From December through May, you can watch for whales during your transfer to the submarine.

Children must be at least 3 feet tall to participate.
Participants must be able to safely navigate a nearly vertical 7-step ladder both in and out of the submarine. Wear low-heeled, sensible shoes to negotiate launch transfer and submarine ladders.

From the time you are picked up on the cruise ship pier, a full crew is ready to service your every need. They will brief you on boat safety, hand out snorkel equipment and give thorough instruction on snorkel technique and safety, and then they will accompany you into the water for a look around some of the best snorkeling sites in Hawaii. Keep your eyes open for Green Sea Turtles, magnificent tropical reef fish, and maybe even a Moray Eel! Explore two snorkel sites in the tropical waters around Maui.
YOUR SNORKEL CRUISE
Board a spacious motor vessel for your approximately 90-minute journey across the clear blue waters surrounding Maui. Weather permitting, your first snorkel site will be off the island of Molokini, rated as one of the top 10 snorkel sites in Hawaii. Here you can explore the tropical coral reef and watch the colorful fish. After visiting Molokini, cruise to Olowalu's Turtle Reef, which in addition to having a great variety of tropical fish and coral, is frequented by gentle Hawaiian green sea turtles.

Catch A Wave Surfing Lesson
Hit the beach in Lahaina, where expert surfers teach you how to "hang ten" in no time.

Meet your expert instructor at the pier before heading to the beach, where you receive a safety orientation and basic instruction. Next paddle out with your instructor for a real lesson in riding the waves. After your lesson, there will be approximately 50-minutes of surfing on your own or relax on the beach.

Maui Whale Watching
Every year humpback whales migrate from Alaska to the waters off Maui, where, from December through May, the whales mate and calve.
YOUR WHALE WATCHING CRUISE
Board your comfortable vessel, which is fully equipped with state-of-the art video equipment for both above and below water viewing. Your crew includes an expert naturalist who is on hand to provide facts and figures about Maui's whales. Once whales are spotted, your captain will position the boat to allow you to fully enjoy these astonishing mammals without disturbing them.
