A trip to Pearl Harbor visits the USS Arizona Memorial and includes a self-guided tour of the legendary battleship USS Missouri - " Mighty Mo. "

WHAT YOU VISIT
USS Arizona Memorial - Your visit begins with a tour of the Visitor Center , which includes a moving short film on the surprise attack of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Then board a Navy launch and travel to the graceful memorial, which appears to float above the shattered hull of the USS Arizona.

USS Missouri Monument - Today, the USS Missouri, berthed on the former "Battleship Row" at Ford Island , is a floating interactive museum. This Iowa-class battleship is 887 feet long, displaces 45,000 tons, and boasts a main battery of nine 16-inch guns and Tomahawk cruise missiles. There will be approximately 90 minutes explore " Mighty Mo. " Highlights include her flying bridge, ward room, officer's quarters and the "Signature Deck," where Japanese officials signed the article of surrender on September 2, 1945, ending World War II.

Returning from Pearl Harbor, you will pass Aloha Stadium, home of the Pro Bowl, and the Tripler Hospital . Travel through residential areas and downtown Honolulu en route to the ship.

Polynesian Cultural Center

WHAT YOU VISIT
Polynesian Cultural Center - The center is located in the village of Laie , founded by Mormon missionaries in 1864. On arrival at the 42-acre center, Polynesian villagers, students from the nearby Laie campus of Brigham Young University , greet you. See demonstrations of Fijian drumming, fire walking, coconut tree climbing and traditional dances of Fiji , Hawaii , the Marquesas, New Zealand , Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga .

Board your air-conditioned motorcoach for the approximately 90 minute drive towards Oahu's windward coast, passing Queen Emma's Royal Summer Palace . Travel a narrow road that winds through lush tropical forest growing on stratified cliffs formed by volcanic activity to Pali Lookout. Continue by local highway to Wahiawa and the Dole Pineapple Pavilion, passing acres of pineapple fields. Head for the North Shore , home of Oahu 's famous surfing beaches. Pass the Mormon Temple before arriving at the Polynesian Cultural Center . The return drive passes the famous “Chinaman's Hat Island ” and the twin suburb cities of Kaneohe and Kailua . If traffic permits, travel directly across the island on one of the highway tunnels running below the Koolau Mountains .

The Polynesian Cultural Center preserves the customs and cultures of old Polynesia with a traditional luau and dances from Polynesia .

YOUR LUAU
The Ali'i Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center has been awarded the coveted Kahili Award for preserving Hawaiian culture and is considered the most authentic of luaus on Oahu . The festivities begin with a fresh flower lei greeting and the ceremonial lifting of the pig from the steaming rocks of the imu (underground oven). Watch the arrival of Hawaiian royalty, the Ali'i Court , and partake in a traditional Hawaiian feast as the show begins with hula kahiko, or ancient dances that tell stories of old Hawaii . While you watch the show, enjoy a delicious array of Kahlua pork, teriyaki chicken, lomi lomi salmon, poi, salads, rolls and much more. Atlantis Submarine Adventure

Explore the underwater wonders off Waikiki Beach aboard a state of the art Atlantis submarine.

YOUR SUBMARINE ADVENTURE
Your air-conditioned Atlantis submarine features comfortable seating and large viewing ports. Travel to the dive site and submerge to depths of up to 120 feet. Your marine naturalist provides narration and points out sea life during the dive. Visit two wrecked ships, an airplane and artificial reefs that provide habitat for colorful tropical fish, coral and sea turtles.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Bring your camera and use high-speed film (400 to 800 ASA) to capture underwater scenes and coastal views of Waikiki and Diamond Head .

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Board an open-air trolley for the ride to the Hilton Hawaiian Village at Waikiki . Travel to the Atlantis submarine onboard an air-conditioned tender, enjoying views of Waikiki and Diamond Head . After your submarine adventure, board the trolley for the return to the ship.

YOUR DOLPHIN DISCOVERY
Your adventure begins with a narrated Island tour to Sea Life Park . Arriving at the park, a quick orientation will give you an overview of the Park and its amenities. Take in a dolphin show at Dolphin Cove, then on to the Hawaiian Reef Aquarium which offers a close up view of Hawaii 's underwater ecosystem from top to bottom where over 2,000 reef animals and organisms, including sharks, sting rays, turtles, and various schools of tropical fish reside in this 300,000 gallon aquarium. On to the Kolohe Kai Surf Club for a hilarious Sea Lion Show and the Sea Turtle Lagoon. Afterwards, head over to the dolphin area. From a waist deep platform you will caress, kiss and observe the dolphins while they perform high energy behaviors. For those that feel comfortable the program also offers the opportunity to move off the platform into slightly deeper water to participate in some fun activities while interacting with the dolphins.

SPECIAL NOTES
Minimum age to participate is 8 years old. Passengers should be competent swimmers and wear swimsuits under clothing; bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a towel. Pregnant passengers may not participate on the tour.

Begin the day waving to the incredible penguin and take in a dolphin show at Dolphin Cove. Next, head to the Hawaiian Reef Aquarium which offers a close up view of Hawaii 's underwater ecosystem from top to bottom where over 2,000 reef animals and organisms, including sharks, sting rays, turtles, and various schools of tropical fish reside in this 300,000 gallon aquarium. On to the Kolohe Kai Surf Club for a hilarious Sea Lion Show and the Sea Turtle Lagoon, this fascinating exhibit area has another, more important purpose; it doubles as a breeding sanctuary for the endangered Hawaiian green sea turtles (honu).

No deviations to duration, departure or return time can be made. This is a private arrangement; those accompanying you are the family or friends with whom you agree to share costs. We do not match groups of passengers to form a private group for the vehicle. Vehicles and guides are of extremely limited availability; reserve early.

These tours are ordered per vehicle. One person in your party places the order for the vehicle; the entire cost of the vehicle is charged to that person's shipboard account and cannot be divided among the party. Once onboard, you will receive a letter requesting details about your travel plans. Please complete this information and return it to the Tour Office as soon as possible.
