Visit the Arizona Memorial Visitors Center where you'll watch a film depicting the events of the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack. Afterwards, board a Navy launch for the short ride to the Memorial itself, where you'll disembark for an up-close, unforgettable experience.

Your sightseeing continues, passing Aloha Stadium, home of the Pro Bowl and Hula Bowl, and touring downtown Honolulu and its authentic Chinatown district. Also see such attractions as Iolani Palace (the only royal palace on American soil), Kawaiahao Church , the impressive King Kamehameha Statue, Honolulu City Hall , the Hawaii State Capitol, the Governor's Mansion and the quaint homes of the early missionaries. Atlantis Submarine

 

Explore Hawaii 's unique underwater paradise aboard a high-tech, air-conditioned submarine. Your excursion begins with a drive from the ship to Waikiki, where you will board the Atlantis transfer vessel for a short boat ride with views of Waikiki and Diamond Head . Arriving at the Atlantis dive site you will board the submarine. Being in a submarine and descending 100 feet underwater is an adventure by itself. Adding to this experience, just imagine the marine life you will see up close. The Waikiki dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral, and turtles. Atlantis Submarines is an eye-opening experience where you learn about coral, reef life and submersibles while visiting sunken shipwrecks, airplane and other artificial reefs. With a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view-ports and comfortable seating, this submarine allows you access to Hawaii 's sea life while the crew share their love of the ocean with you.

Minimum height to participate is 3 feet tall. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and sensible shoes for boat transfers and navigating the nearly vertical seven-step submarine ladder. Approximate 40 minute dive.

 

Chinatown Dinner & Show

 

Join Titus Chan, Master Chef, educator, author and television personality, for a cultural and culinary experience to not be forgotten! Titus will present a Chinese dinner at a popular Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Chinatown . During the show you'll view a Cheongsam, or "Chinese national dress" fashion show, be treated to a traditional lion dance and be able to feed the lion "lisee" (a small amount of money with green leaves) to receive the lion's blessings and martial arts masters will perform kung fu feats. Titus Chan highlights your evening's festivities with a cooking demonstration! You will receive a menu with the evening's recipes as a memento of your evening.

 

 

Chinatown Walking Tour, Cooking Demonstration & Lunch

 

Located minutes from Hawaii 's beaches, historic Chinatown offers a taste of China and an assorted mix of other Asian cultures. Chinatown is filled with a diverse blend of clothing and jewelry stores, fish and meat markets, art galleries, lei makers and specialty shops. Join Titus Chan, Master Chef, educator, author and television personality, for a cultural and culinary experience to not be forgotten! After your walking tour through Chinatown you'll be treated to a Chinese dim sum lunch, followed by a cooking demonstration performed by Titus himself!

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended; this tour involves approximately 3 miles of walking over two hours. Participants are recommended to bring cash if purchasing souvenirs in Chinatown; credit cards and traveler's checks are not widely accepted in Chinatown .

 

 

Dolphin Discovery at Sea Life Park

 

Your adventure begins with a narrated drive to Sea Life Park . Arriving at the Park a quick orientation will give you an overview of the Park and its amenities. Sea Life Park features dolphins, sea lions, penguins, sea turtles, shows and exhibits. The highlight of your day will be your Dolphin Discovery Swim! From a waist deep platform you will caress, kiss and observe the dolphins while they perform high-energy behaviors. For those who feel comfortable, the program also includes the opportunity to move off the platform into slightly deeper water to participate in activities while swimming with the dolphins. In addition to your dolphin discovery, you may independently explore Sea Life Park before meeting at a pre-designated area and then returning to your ship. Admission to Sea Life Park and roundtrip transportation are included in your ticket price.

Children under 8 years old and under 55-inches tall must be accompanied and assisted by an adult. Pregnant women are not permitted to participate. Participants should wear swimsuits under clothing and sunscreen and bring a hat, sunglasses, and a towel. Tour includes approximately 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins.

 

Explore the North Shore

Departing from the pier you will drive over the Ko'olau Mountains to Oahu 's windward side. Your first stop will be the Valley of the Temples where you will visit the Byodo Temple , located at the base of 2,000-foot cliffs. Travel along the shores of Kahana Bay arriving at Laie Point, where you may observe several native plants and seabird species. Continuing north to Kahuku, you will visit shrimp farms and see endangered wetland birds, including the Black-neck stilt, Hawaiian Coot and Moorhen. Stops will be made at Sunset Beach and the Banzai Pipeline, and Turtle Beach . Traveling south, you will arrive at the historical village of Haleiwa , home to many surfers, artists and craftspeople. Your final stop is at the Dole Pineapple Plantation, a collection showcasing unique pineapple species from all over the world.

 

Honolulu 's Hidden Paradise

Learn about Honolulu 's history and see a collection of rainforest and tropical plants during this fully narrated tour through Oahu 's world-renowned botanical gardens. Start the day with a visit to Iolani Palace grounds where you will view Oahu's largest Banyan tree while learning about the Hawaiian monarchy and the history of the only royal palace in the United States . See the King Kamehameha Statue, Hawaii State Capitol, and historic Honolulu on your way to Liliuokalani Falls . Your next stop is Foster Botanical Garden . Here you naturalist guide will highlight the unique tropical plants, including the "Bo Tree," grown from a cutting of the original tree planted in India some 800 years ago by the first Dali Lama, cacao, pepper, cinnamon and allspice trees, and the famous Foster orchid collection. Experience views of Diamond Head, Waikiki, Honolulu and the southwest coast of Oahu as you travel up into the Ko'olau Mountains to Mount Tantalus . Learn about the rainforest plants in the part, and look for the vibrant yellow Oahu Amakihi, a rare and endangered Hawaiian honeycreeper bird species.

Participants must be able to walk up to 2 miles during this tour. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Travel up a winding road through a series of stratified cliffs viewing some of the island's most spectacular scenery. Take in the views of Sandy Beach as you drive through Waimanalo and along the Pali Highway .

Before returning to the ship a stop will be made at the Pali Lookout for a view of the Windward Coast and Kaneohe Bay .
