Starting in the village of Vaitape, circle this island paradise in one of the local Le Trucks.

YOUR SCENIC DRIVE
A 22-mile long road encircles Bora Bora. A flower-decorated truck with individual cushioned bucket seats will take you on a narrated drive past coconut groves and hamlets that hug the shoreline. Pass the main villages of Vaitape, Faanui and Anau with their mysterious maraes and open-air temples. Continuing on, pass American naval gun sites from World War II and enjoy spectacular views from Matira Point.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Anau Look Out - Gaze over the motus dotting the reef surrounding the island. In the distance, you may be able to catch a glimpse of the neighboring islands of Raiatea and Taaha.

Taihi Point - Admire the majestic 2,400-foot-high Mount Otemanu which overlooks the entire island.

Bloody Mary's - Search the board posted in front for names of famous patrons such as James Michener who is said to have based his novel, "Tales of the South Pacific," on Bora Bora.

Stop briefly at Mama Ruta's where you will see a traditional pareo demonstration. Learn how Tahitians paint these colorful pieces of clothing and have the opportunity to make a purchase.

Tupuna Mountain Safari & Island Tour

Get off the beaten track on an adventurous, guided 4WD tour of Bora Bora that includes a mountain plantation with stunning views of Faanui Bay.

YOUR 4WD SAFARI
This tour combines an exhilarating 4WD safari with an informative narrative of Bora Bora. Starting at Vaitape, you ascend Pahonu Hill capturing views of the harbor and Matira Beach. Stop for refreshments and to visit a pearl boutique where you will find the famous Polynesian pearls, as well as an exhibit of photographs and books. As you continue on your journey, you will stop briefly at the naval gun sites from WWII - with 7-inch cannons. From here, travel the island's north shore to the lush Faanui Valley. Climb to a mountain plantation offering views of Faanui Bay.

Motu Lagoon Cruise

Enjoy Bora Bora's magical lagoon aboard the special cruiser Moana on this sightseeing and beachcombing cruise. This lagoon cruise offers superb views of Bora Bora's hidden eastern side.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE DURING YOUR LAGOON CRUISE
Board this 33-foot vessel, designed specifically to navigate the shallow parts of the lagoon, then explore areas not accessible to other boats. A roof protects you from the sun while you cruise from Vaitape Bay, around Matira Point, and past beautiful Anau Bay. A stop will be made on one of the motu (coral islets), where you will wade ashore and have approximately one hour to swim in the crystal clear waters or just relax and enjoy the beach. Be sure to wear beach shoes and bring a towel.

Glassbottom Boat Spectacular

Get a different perspective of Bora Bora on a glassbottom boat tour of the island's lagoon.

YOUR GLASSBOTTOM BOAT CRUISE
Experience both the underwater world of Bora Bora, as well as the beautiful scenery of the lagoon. As your glassbottom boat carries you through the lagoon's waters, observe colorful schools of tropical fish, including parrot, butterfly and surgeon fish. Watch as a diver feeds the fish right under your glass window. Be sure not to forget your camera as the boat's roof shelters you from sun and glare, providing optimal conditions for great pictures.

Bora Bora Submarine

Dive to 100 feet in the only passenger submarine operating in French Polynesia.

YOUR SUBMARINE RIDE
Transfer by boat to a reef site just outside the lagoon to embark the six-passenger submarine. Completely surrounded by an acrylic window, you have a spectacular 360-degree view of the life which abounds in these waters. Your captain will take the submarine down to depths reaching 100 feet where you can discover black-tip reef sharks, tangs, schools of snappers and stingrays. The dive will last approximately 30 minutes before returning you to the world at the surface.

There are several ladder-type steps to enter and exit the submarine.


Bora Bora Lagoon Sail By Catamaran

Savor in Bora Bora's scenic beauty on a lagoon cruise aboard a luxury catamaran.

Bora Bora Aqua Safari Helmet Dive

You do not even need to know how to swim to discover the underwater world around Bora Bora.

YOUR UNDERWATER AQUA SAFARI
Wearing a simple bathing suit and equipped with a funny yellow helmet, you will walk along the sea bottom in the shallow warm lagoon surrounding the island. A short boat transfer brings you to the reef site. Accompanied by a certified instructor, you will see fantastic coral formations and colorful tropical fish in the shallow water. Surrounded by the many inhabitants of the reef, your head will remain completely dry during your 30 minutes underwater. All equipment and instruction is included - no prior experience is necessary.

There are certain medical conditions that may prevent you from participating in our Helmet Diving program. Minimum age to participate is 8 years; maximum age is 75. Dive site is subject to change.


Bora Bora Snorkel Safari & Ray Ballet

See Bora Bora's marine life up close and personal on a two-hour lagoon snorkel.

YOUR SNORKEL SAFARI
Warm waters, fantastic coral formations, tropical fish, and expert guides make Bora Bora a snorkeler's paradise. The marine life includes grouper, butterfly and parrot fish, among hundreds of other exotic species. After exploring the reef for approximately one hour, the boat will move to a shallow site where you watch as your guide hand feeds the graceful rays in an effortless ballet around you.

It is recommended that you wear protective footwear (reef shoes) or fins while in the water.

Snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel and snorkel vest) are included but they are quite basic and fins are not provided.

SPECIAL NOTES
You should have some snorkeling experience and be a competent swimmer to cope with occasional currents.


Bora Bora Introductory Scuba

First-time divers can enjoy an introductory dive in Bora Bora's legendary waters.

YOUR INTRODUCTORY DIVE
You travel by boat to a shallow dive site, where you receive a complete briefing on the knowledge and skills required - no experience is necessary to participate in this easy and exciting activity. Then join your professional guide for an approximately 30-minute dive to view tropical fish and coral formations along the reef. No scuba experience is required. All equipment, professional instruction and supervision are included.

Please be advised that a medical history/liability waiver must be completed prior to participating on this tour. There are certain medical conditions that may prevent you from participating in our Introductory Scuba Diving program. Minimum age is 10; maximum age is 70. Dive site is subject to change.


Certified Scuba - Anau: Morning Dive

The morning hours offer the best opportunity to experience a dive with the giant manta rays inhabiting the reefs of Bora Bora.

YOUR CERTIFIED DIVE
At Anau, a coral mount begins very close to the surface and extends nearly 100 feet underwater. Most of the year, giant manta rays frequent this area giving you the opportunity to get close to these normally solitary creatures. Your 30- to 60-foot scuba dive offers other views including moray eels, butterfly and trigger fish that inhabit the coral wall.

Certified Scuba - Tapu Or Toopua: Afternoon Dive

An afternoon dive is a perfect complement to a morning activity. Enjoy a very special diving experience on this one-tank scuba expedition.

YOUR CERTIFIED DIVE
One of two sites will be chosen for the afternoon dive based on conditions on the day. Both sites, Tapu or Toopua, offer a reef mount extending nearly 100 feet underwater and an abundance of photo opportunities. Look for lemon and black-tip sharks, napoleon and jack fish, tuna and moray eels.

Bora Bora Night Dive

A diver's dream, one of the most famous lagoons of French Polynesia is alive with a whole different range of underwater creatures after dark.

YOUR NIGHT DIVE
Your night dive will give you a new and fascinating experience of the tropical reef at depths ranging from 30 to 60 feet. The dive site will be chosen based on conditions on the day. SCUBA equipment, transportation and professional supervision are all provided.

Bora Bora Advanced Certified Dive

Certified two tank dive for the more experienced diver.

YOUR CERTIFIED DIVES
Experienced divers are sure to enjoy this boat dive on two of Bora Bora's more advanced dive sites. The first dive site is normally Tapu or Muri Muri with impressive lemon sharks, school of black tip, napoleon wrasse or school of grey sharks, jack fishes, barracudas and turtles. The second site will commonly be a drift dive the famous Toopua Pass or the Channel with eagle rays, many tropical fish, trigger fish, anemone and moray eels.
